3rd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta

Date: Sunday, September 6th, 2026
Race Time: 2:00 PM (following the cookout)
Location: New Albany Links Pool
Team Registration Deadline: August 30th, 2026
Eligibility: Open to Social Members and their Guests

Join us for a wild and creative competition on water! Teams will race homemade boats made entirely from cardboard and duct tape in our third annual regatta.

Race Rules & Highlights:

• Official race entries must be boats constructed using only cardboard and duct/Gorilla tape.
• Surfboards, rafts, and other non-boat creations are welcome to participate in a separate Fun Race following the official competition.
• Boats must arrive fully built and ready to race.
• 1–2 people per boat (life jackets required).
• Teams may consist of 1–10 participants.
• Official Boat Race Champion: Pizza Party for up to 15 people (to be scheduled at a later date).
• Fun, laughter, and bragging rights guaranteed!
